Hello Everyone!! After almost three weeks I am finally back with another delicious and easy recipe! If you are like me and love anything and everything related to carbs but are also trying to find a balance to live a healthier life style, then this recipe is right for you!
Investing about $10.00 on a inspiralizer is something I would recommend to anyone, its such a great kitchen tool! I used mine to turn my zucchini into noodles in just minutes.
I absolutely love turning vegetables into noodles because they are a healthy, fun way to eat!
When making zucchini noodles you want to make sure you don’t over cook them, since they tend to get soggy and retain lots of water. Just a couple of minutes will do!
There really isn’t any right or wrong way to make your zucchini noodles or its toppings, I like to keep it pretty similar to the way I will do if I was making regular pasta minus the cheese to keep it on the lighter side.
This time I decided to use:
- Vegan Sausage (Aldi)
- Chicken tenderloin
- Basil & tomato sauce ( Trader joe’s)
While I boiled and rinsed my noodles I cooked the ingredients for my topping in the separate skillet until fully cooked!
This is the final product! After my noodles and toppings were ready I simply placed them in my pate and they where ready to eat! Oh and did I mentioned it only took me 15 mins to make?!
