Hello there, my name is Ana and I am passionate and in love with all things health and wellness. After struggling with eating disorders and self love for as long as I can remember, I made the choice that I wanted to be happy. With time, patience, and determination, I’ve come to find a place of balance in my life…which leads me to why I created my food and lifestyle blog. I want to show others that being healthy AND happy is possible.
If you know me personally or follow me on any social media you will know that am a huge believer in eating real food – whole, unprocessed, good for you stuff. Instead of focusing on the number of calories in something, I strive to fuel my body with food that is good for my body, mind, and soul. I think it is extremely important to listen to what you’re body is telling you. If you’re hungry, eat. If you’re full, stop. If your body is tired, take a rest day. If you’re craving something, go ahead and have it. Our bodies are smarter than we are…enough overthinking and analyzing – it’s time to listen.
To share a little bit about myself, I grew up in Mexico and moved to the U.S when I was 12. I’m currently pursuing a degree in Special Education and I am really exited to see all the future has in store. My hope is to earn my master’s degree in Special Education, and contemplating a minor in nutrition and dietetics and somehow have the two intertwine one day. I have an entrepreneurial spirit to me, so we’ll see what happens.
When I’m not taking photos of my food, it’s likely that you’ll find spending time with my husband and fur baby Rosy. Aside from that, I live a pretty simple life and spending time with my family and friends is the most important thing to me.
I hope you find something meaningful on my website – whether it be a little motivation on a crappy day, a tasty new treat that you’ll whip up for dessert sometime soon, or a feeling of not being alone – we all have our struggles, but you are never alone. If you have any questions or feed black, I would love to hear it! So, take a peek around and see what ya find.
With love and a pinch of salt always,
